What holidays does USPS not deliver?
US Domestic Mail Manual, part 608, section 3.2, categorizes holidays as “Widely Observed” and “Not Widely Observed“.
“Widely Observed” holidays include: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
There are four “Not Widely Observed” holidays: Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, Presidents Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day.
USPS mail cannot be delivered on these days, but Amazon and Express Mail packages can still be delivered.

Presidents’ Day, or Washington’s Birthday
